Flywheel Uses Text Messaging to Increase Class Attendance
Oh no! You missed the registration for your morning Flywheel class, and it’s completely booked up! That sucks! Luckily for you, Flywheel is now able to send text messages to your mobile phone, when an opening for the class you’re interested in becomes available.
As you can see in the image below, if a Flywheel class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist.
When you click “Add yourself to the waitlist”, you’re taken to a new page, which asks you not only for your information, but your mobile phone number, so that you can be alerted if a spot opens up in the Flywheel class.
If a spot opens up, you’ll receive a text message, like the one below, asking you to confirm your Flywheel reservation. As you can see in the Flywheel text message below, they’ll text message you not only the data and time that’s available, but even who’s teaching the class. To make it super simple, Flywheel only requires that you respond with the word “YES”, to confirm your enrollment in the class. It really can’t get much more simple than this!
